Celebrate Earth Day with the Forest Preserve District!

We have two Earth Day events for you to attend!

The first is our Earth Day Tree Planting. We’re calling all volunteers to join staff and neighbors as we plant trees in honor of Earth Day. Simply place the tree in pre-dug holes. Tamp down the dirt. Water, then mulch. It’s easy! This is a perfect event for groups or individuals. All ages are welcome. Be sure to arrive at 10 a.m. sharp. We’ll plant trees until 1 p.m. or until we run out — whichever comes first! You may wish to bring work gloves and a water bottle.
