Earth Day Open House

Earth Day is everyday at Creek Bend Nature Center, but April 22 is extra special! Throughout the day, there will be activities for everyone. From stories and crafts in the Nature Center to a “Native Landscaping 101” class. We’ll have Earth Day treats for all, and we’ll treat Mother Earth by cleaning up the trails.

8 a.m. – Bird Walk (Free, all ages)

10:30 – 11:30 a.m. – Earth Day Garden Workshop ($10/garden, all ages)

12 – 4 p.m. – Crafts & Games (Free, all ages)

1 – 2 p.m. – Native Landscaping 101 ($10 fee, ages 18 and up)

3 – 4 p.m. – Nature Hike and Trail Cleanup (Free, all ages)

Night Hikes – “By the Light of the Moon”

Enjoy an evening walk in the woods and learn some of the lore, legends and science of the moon. We’ll still walk, even if the skies are cloudy!
