The bitter cold January days have many people cooped up inside their house. There’s no better time to get out in the preserves and breathe in some fresh air. Make it your New Year’s resolution to spend more time outdoors, despite the weather.
Get your 10,000 steps in during our “Trek with a Naturalist” nature program. During this brisk hike, we’ll take an invigorating hike at Burnidge Forest Preserve. A naturalist will interpret the ecology of the preserve, as we hike. This program is for ages 18 and up. Join us on Saturday, Jan. 7, from 9-11 a.m.
